Branch 41 cares about the health and security of our community. That's why our Blood Drives are so important.

Remember to fill out a 3971 at least a week in advance and request Blood Leave. Donating blood is a community service that is encouraged by the U.S. Postal Service. That is why you may receive Administrative Leave for donating blood. Request enough time for traveling and donating blood. It takes about a half hour to donate blood but there are other factors to consider as well. How long it takes you to get from the time clock to your car. How long it takes to drive to the Union Hall. How long it takes to find a parking spot. How long it takes to get to the Union Hall from the parking spot you found. Try to estimate all of this as fair as possible and then request the total time you will need to donate blood. {Remember time to get home doesn't count.} If your request is denied , then notify your Shop Steward. Directions:

Belt Parkway to Bay Parkway Exit. Go two blocks to Bath Avenue and make a right. Then go two and a half blocks.

By Train: "D" or "M" train to Bay Parkway.
Then walk south or take the B6 or B82 Bus to
Bath Avenue. Go two and a half blocks east.

By Bus: B6, B64 or B82 to Bay Parkway and Bath Avenue. Then go two and a half blocks east to the Union Hall.
